Brigands & Breadknives by Travis Baldree āāāā āØ

Travis did it again. A delightful third installment of the series. I'd appreciate it if they would keep on coming. I love his writing and character building. Zill is definitely my favourite in this one! Shenkling!!!
Hamnet by Maggie OāFarrell āāāāā

This is absolutely a new favorite. I loved the writing, finished it in one week. Even though it's about an English small town, Stratford, the pace is pretty good. I always love to read about a strong independent female character that's one with nature and provides her medicinal practices to neighbors. All while the pestilence is taking lives and her husband is struggling with life.
Looking forward to the movie come January!
The Rebel and the Rose by Catherine Doyle āāāā

I found the sequel not as emotionally challenging as the first one. It was clear that Ransom and Sera would always end up together one way or another, so I wasnāt bothered by their bickering, pushing and pulling in this story. I hear itās not atypical for a sequel to lay low, at the 2/3 mark itās already obvious that weāll need a third installment to go on with the story. I am however still curious to see where Catherine takes us with the next book in the series!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher Simon&Schuster. All opinions are my own.
If We Were Villains - M.L. Rio āāāā

Nicely written and narrated!
What fools these mortals be.
