Here's me!

I'm Sofie, nice to meet you! I'm a Belgian Bookaholic who loves coffee and cats. I work fulltime as a Medical Management Assistent and have weekend job as a barista in my home town.

I have been looking for my own bookish space on this world wide web for quite some time now. And finally settled on growing an Instagram page for anyone wanting to follow my reading adventure. However, I found I also want to express my thoughts on books and life in writing, it also creates a means for me to post book reviews for ARC's, so I finally decided to dedicate this written blog to satisfy that itch!

My reading history started at a very young age, I was taken to the local library almost weekly to indulge myself in books available for kids and youngsters and loved the library atmosphere ever since. My higher education caused me to limit my time to studying and other hobbies, so reading was forced to the background. Soon after, say in 2021, I enrolled in a shorter Bachelor program, so I figured I had some more time to busy myself with. A good friend of mine encouraged me to take reading back up, after I told her about my favorite YA-series Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier, which she also adores. And the rest is history, my Instagram page was born and I've been reading more books each year since.

Blog writing is not very new to me either, in high school I started a blog dedicated to my bullet journal, life and purchases. I have been inspired to do so by many Youtubers like Zoëlla, Jacksgap and Louise. I figured that I had to come clean in my target audience and focus more on books, reviews and related content. So, here's me! I hope you'll join me on this journey and are looking forward to future reviews and other bookish posts!
